The Singing Heritage Route has added some 600 km to its route. The route now ends, or starts if you will, in Norway. The eastern part of the Finnmark County banks on the Barents Sea. It is a short song from Russia, as most of the route is.
The Barents Sea is just 10 km from the border to Finland and other sauna loving people. A highlight in fishing village Pykeijä – Little Finland (Pikku Suomi) – is of course Jäämeren sauna. The sauna by the Ice Ocean.
As Norway is now a part of the route map, the singingroute.com has also been translated to Norwegian. Major destinations are Vadsø and Kirkenes together with Pykeijä. We have added some cultural highlights and museums in these places.
